ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - More than 2,500 jobs from nearly 70 employers will be up for grabs during Gov. Bill Richardson's Job Expo at the state fairgrounds in Albuquerque on Tuesday.
Richardson says his office is committed to giving New Mexicans every resource in their job search.
All jobs offered at the expo are paid positions and not commission-based jobs.
New Mexico Workforce Connection will offer a resource room with computers for participants to apply online for various jobs offered at the expo. Staff will also be available to help with resume writing and one-on-one career counseling.
The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions, Economic Development Department, Expo NM, the city of Albuquerque and the New Mexico Workforce Connection Center are organizing the event.
