AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A crime alert from Amarillo Police. They say some local bank e-mail scams are starting up again.

The e-mail asks you yo return a downloaded file with your name, account number, and pin number. For security reasons, banks local or nationwide will not send out a request for this type of information through the internet.

If you receive an e-mail like that don't answer it, and contact your bank right away.
