AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Panhandle Mothers Against Methamphetamine also known as MAMAS, is looking to reach another goal aside from their usual fight against drugs.
They are trying to raise money to continue helping Amarillo and the upper 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle.
The Amarillo Area Foundation has offered the non-profit corporation a challenge grant up to $15,000. The money raised will keep this support group operating for the next year.
"All that we do with it's materials with our DVD's, we never charge anyone -- it's not our object to charge anyone for this information," said Jody Jones, VP of Panhandle MAMAS.
Panhandle Mothers is asking for your help whether its on an individual basis or a corporate donation. The area foundation is matching every dollar donated three to one.
