CANYON, TEXAS -- Folks that live off of Rockwell Road had about 5 inches in Wednesday night's down pour. We spoke with one family worried about what could happen tonight.
Joe Paulk and his family spent the day cleaning up the mess left behind by the rains. He told us he's worried that with the ground already saturated, if they get more rain they may be looking at more water in their home.
"It's going to get a little nastier, it'll get a little rough, nothing you can do about it though. Just stay with it, push it out as quick as it comes in...no place to push it though it's getting rough."
Joe says that they were lucky the water didn't get into the house but there was about 4 inches in the garage.
