LAKE OZARK, Mo. (AP) - A 5-year-old Missouri boy who authorities say was taken from his father last weekend at gunpoint has been found safe in New Mexico.

St. Louis' KSDK-TV reports that an uncle of Devon Denman says the boy was found in Grants, N.M., and is in good condition.

Detectives and a family member were expected to fly to that state Monday to investigate and bring the boy back.

Authorities issued an endangered person advisory for the boy after the father said the child was taken by the his mother and her boyfriend at gunpoint Saturday at the father's home in Lake Ozark.

The father was awarded custody of the boy last week.
