AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo police have arrested an Amarillo man listed on the Texas Ten Most Wanted Sex Offenders list.

Police arrested Michael Edward Glover last week, after they found him hiding in a closet in a home in the 3800 block of NW 1st.

According to police Cpl. Sean Slover, officers were sent to the home after a tip was called into Amarillo Crime Stoppers with information about his location.

Glover had been sought since December on a charge of aggravated rape out of Taylor County. He has faced previous charges of sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, larceny and burglary.

Slover says the call came in after hours through their answering service, the service then contacted dispatchers who sent out officers to the location the tipster gave. He also says that just because its after hours they still can receive your tips and they take care of business 24/7.
