AMARILLO, TEXAS -- An accident near Lake Tanglewood Wednesday evening had EMS crews and firefighters using the jaws of life to cut through metal and free the driver. The wreck happend on the Claude Highway, FM 1151 and Tanglewood Drive a little after six that evening. Traffic was backed up, while rescue crews worked to free those trapped in the vehicle.

Police say it happened when the driver of a Jetta tried to make a U-turn in front of a semi-truck hauling cars. That's when the two collided near the front of the semi.

The passenger of the Jetta was rushed to BSA hospital, as of right now we don't know the condition of the drivers of the vehicles.
