Bushland pipeline explosion on Nov. 5, 2009
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- It appears there's been a settlement in a lawsuit over that pipeline explosion in Bushland last year on November 5.
Documents filed in federal district court in Amarillo says El Paso Natural Gas and the landowners have worked things out. That settlement would allow completion of a rerouted pipeline.
U.S. District Judge Mary Lou Robinson will consider approving the settlement between the property owners and the pipeline company. Both parties have 30 days to make their agreement official. Settlement terms weren't made public in Wednesday's filing.
The pipeline blast damaged some homes in Bushland, and injured three people.
