AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Census is wrapping up after getting back its mail in information, and finishing its home visits.

So how did Amarillo do?

Amarillo averaged around 69% in mailing surveys, that's right around the Texas average, and just below the National average.

And of the 2,000 people hired by Census here in Amarillo, 350 are still working for them. They'll now start their final processes, by double checking houses and compiling numbers to turn into the President.

The public should know their new city population numbers by February.
