DENTON, Texas (AP) - Authorities say a husband and wife have survived a single-engine plane crash in north Texas.
Denton police spokesman Officer Ryan Grelle told The Dallas Morning News that the crash happened around 7 p.m. Sunday about one mile southwest of the Denton Municipal Airport.
Grelle says the couple were taken to a hospital. Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Lynn Lunsford told the newspaper it appears they suffered severe burns.
The FAA and Texas Department of Public Safety are investigating.
