DUMAS, TEXAS -- The City of Dumas Fire Department has received a fire prevention grant. One of the world's largest property insurers, FM Global awarded the department $2500. The award will be used to assist with prefire planning to efficiently collect and track data related to local community buildings. That information will help the fire department respond in an emergency situation.

Because fire continues to be the leading cause of property damage worldwide, during the past 30 years FM Global has contributed millions of dollars in fire prevention grants to fire service organizations around the globe.
