Amarillo firefighters work to put fire out
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Amarillo Fire Department is investigating a duplex fire Tuesday night.
Just before ten, crews were called to the homes on Westhaven. Fire was seen coming from the A-side of the duplex.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames before it spread to the B-side. The A-side suffered heavy fire damage, while the B-side was damaged by smoke. The fire caused about $60,000 worth of damage. The cause remains under investigation.
