AMARILLO, TEXAS -- UPDATE:
Police say they have now arrested two men and booked them into the Potter County Jail. The two are identified as Pete Carillo Torrez, 58, and Martin Gerard Olivas, 42, both of Amarillo.
Both of these men have been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
A female passenger, Rosa Maria Valenzuela, 28, of Amarillo, in the vehicle was arrested for an outstanding Probation Warrant.
This incident is still under investigation and additional charges and/or arrest are possible.

Early Monday morning, a 58-year-old man was abruptly awakened by three men dragging him out of his truck and beating him.
Just after 2:00 a.m., Robert Crooks, 58, was asleep in his truck in the 2700 block of S. Houston. Police say, three men pulled Crooks out of his truck and started beating him, he received a cut to his hand. He was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Officers responding to the call saw a vehicle matching the description of the suspects vehicle near SE 10th, going north on S. Ross. There were four people inside the car including men that had blood on their clothes and skin. Officers stopped the vehicle and detained the four people for investigation.
Crooks, was able to identify one or more of them men as the persons that had beaten him. The suspects were taken to the police department to be questioned by detectives. The incident is still under investigation. No charges have been filed and the motive for the attack is not clear at this time.
