AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Panhandle teachers had an appointment Thursday with Region 16, as it honored the Teacher of the Year Finalists. 18 teachers and their families enjoyed a cake celebration and presentation.
The elementary school winner is Becky Casso from Canyon ISD. She teaches at Hillside Elementary.
The secondary teacher of the year is Jeff Frazer from Amarillo ISD. He teaches at Caprock High.
