AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Seven people are behind bars after delivering 14 pounds of marijuana to an undercover officer. The drugs were delivered to 34th and S. Georgia.
The APD Narcotics Unit has been working this case for about six months, making smaller buys in the past from one of the persons arrested.
Approximately 14 pounds of marijuana, with a street value of $16,100 were seized along with a Mac-10 gun.
The following suspects were arrested, charged and booked into the Randall County Detention Center.
Linda Carol Herbst, 47, Delivery Marijuana in a drug free zone.
DeVaughn JaQuae Walker, 30, Delivery Marijuana in a drug free zone.
Fernando Cazares, 20, Delivery Marijuana in a drug free zone.
Rogelio Herrera HM, 20, Delivery Marijuana in a drug free zone.
James Floyd Grays, 30, Delivery Marijuana in a drug free zone.
Melanie Rose Molina, 30, Delivery Marijuana in a drug free zone.
A 16-year-old female was also arrested her name has been withheld due to her age but she has been placed in Juvenile Detention.
The investigation continues with additional charges pending.
