WICHITA FALLS, Texas (AP) - Four inmates have broken out of the Wichita County Jail Annex.
A statement from Sheriff David Duke says the four men were discovered missing around 7 a.m. Thursday during a routine count of prisoners.
Duke identified the four as 22-year-old Jimmy Noel Hughes, 19-year-old Devontae DeShaun Combs, 19-year-old James Thomas McLendon and 21-year-old Daniel Cicilio Ramos.
Duke says the inmates apparently got out through the top bars and through a vent to the roof amid construction at the Sprague Annex.
All were held on multiple felony counts.
The sheriff's department did not immediately return a call Thursday to The Associated Press for additional details.
