AMARILLO, TEXAS -- In March, ProNews 7 reported that the Texas Department of Health received a complaint on American Medical Response, which provides ambulance service for the City of Amarillo.
The letter, which was sent to the Amarillo City Commission complained about a lack of life saving supplies in their vehicles. AMR then requested the State Health Department to review their equipment.
Friday, a spokesman from the Department of Health says that investigation has been closed and that no action will be taken. They went on to say that they found nothing that puts patients at risk.
