DALLAS - An official groundbreaking will be held to mark the construction start for the new Pavaho Pump Station. 9:30 a.m. 600 Block of Canada Drive (Between Sylvan Avenue and Coronet Boulevard).
AUSTIN - The Hogg Foundation for Mental Health presents a discussion on the criminalization of mental illness by nationally acclaimed journalist Pete Earley. 3-4 p.m.
HOUSTON - Texas first lady Anita Perry will speak at a fundraiser benefiting the Archdiocese for the Military Services, which provides pastoral care for the 1.5 million Catholics serving in the military and their families.
