AMARILLO, TX -- Year after year many Amarillo families struggle to put food on the table, and that's where one classic car show is helping to raise money.
The third annual "Cruisin' for Christ' car and motorcycle show helps feed and cloth families in our area.
It's put on by the Washington Street and Family Service Center and it's a way for visitors to take a trip back in time while helping give back to the community.
"It helps us look back to the way things use to be, and we've had fun peering in the windows of the cars and imagining our folks and grandparents behind the wheels of those cars, and I don't know it just kind of brings the community together so we're doing something as a group cohesively to help people," said Mindy Briggs, Washington Street and Family Service Center Director.
Awards were given to the top 25 vehicles that raised the most money through donations.
