AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A new site on Facebook wants you to join to become an active member in what's going on in and around the city of Amarillo.

It's called "Think Amarillo" and it's the brainchild of Ellen Robertson Green.

She serves on the city traffic commission and noticed that most people are working when area commission meetings take place, and she's hoping people can get involved through this facebook page.

"To be able to find a place, to find a common ground for everyone to listen...elected leaders to citizens in general. And I think if we as a city become organized to come together and talk about things that are important to all of us, we're going to be stronger for it."
