Cameron Menson arrested on burglary and evading arrest charges
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A man who was recently released from prison after serving time for burglary has been arrested again for breaking into an Amarillo home.
Police responded to a call of a burglary in progress at a home in the 700 block of Southwest 17th. They witnessed Cameron Menson, 24, coming out of a side door of the home of a 71-year-old woman. After a short foot chase, officers caught Menson and arrested him for burglary of a habitation and evading arrest.
Police said Menson was released from TDC on September 10, after completing his 6 year sentence on an original charge of burglary.
