Group performs at Lips Thursday night
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- It's an event like no other, and we're not talking just lip service. Just some regular Joes putting on a show, and all for a good cause. We're talking about "Lips." The event features several groups who dance and lip-synch. This year's theme was greatest hits, and performers featured songs like, The Hunting song, "I will follow Him," from the movie "Sister Act," and "I've got You Babe."
Lips is the biggest fundraiser every year for the Opportunity School. The program helps primarily children from low income families succeed in the classroom. In the live auction alone, they raised $39,250.
