CANYON, TX -- West Texas A&M University has been celebrating their Centennial all week, and everything so far has lead up to today.

The Canyon Chamber of Commerce hosted it's annual Fair on the Square featuring entertainment, games, food and of course the WT Homecoming Parade.

The parade was one the largest WT has ever had with around 140 floats and participants.

"I think that just shows the commitment to education that this community has...we're still here, we're going strong, we're bigger and better than ever, and obviously all of our traditions just continue to grow and I think that we'll see another hundred years that are just as good," said Carrisa Hoelscher, WTAMU Presidential Executive Secretary.

WT is taking on Tarleton State University tonight at 6 PM.
