Photo from August 25, wreck that sent several people to the hospital
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A man accused of causing an accident back in August, that injured several people, has now been charged with a crime.
Back on August 25, police say Steve Kindred, 50, crossed the center line and hit a mini-van head on at Plains and Broadmoor.
Kindred and the driver of the mini-van were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. An investigation found alcohol and speed were factors in the accident.
Monday, October 18, the Potter County District Attorney's office has accepted charges of intoxicated assault against Kindred. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
