AMARILLO, TX -- The Amarillo Chamber of Commerce is helping stimulate the minds of tomorrows future by giving kids a glimpse of what kinds of job are available here in town.

Middle school students from three different area schools took part in the annual business tour.

The tours show the kids the many possibilities for future employment including jobs that they may have never thought about before.

"They were really excited this morning about the chance to one, be out of school of course, but also to see some places they have never been. Most of our kids have never been to the news station, they hadn't thought of the ballet as an employment opportunity, and so I think that's going to be a neat thing for them today," said Donna Morehead, Sam Houston Middle School Teacher.

After visiting us here this morning the eighth graders from Sam Houston, Da Zavalla, and Bonham Middle Schools went to the Lone Star Ballet and Happy State Bank.
