AMARILLO, TEXAS -- If you're looking for some family-friendly halloween haunts, we might have an idea. The Creepy Crawl on Sixth street will have an area for adults and children. The kids area is from 5 p.m. to sundown. It will include a play area, bounce house, and face painting. Then, to transitions to the night time activities, there will be a fire show. When purchasing tickets, the adults will get a punch a card that gets you into different businesses. Then each business will have either food, drinks, or discounts for you to take advantage of.

It's all in an effort to make sixth street weird. "Some of the businesses that were opposing us at first, have actually realized that we are doing good and actually decided to join in this year for this event. It felt really good to see that we're making a difference in their eyes and we're not just kids trying to party. We care about the businesses down here. This is such a historic part of town, I don't want to see it get lost," said Kaylee Hamill, the Co-Founder of Make Sixth Street Weird.

The proceeds benefit Shriners Children Hospital. You can buy tickets at the door. They're $5 for adults, and kids 12 and under are free.
