Gov. Rick Perry poses with woman at Roasters on Georgia in Amarillo
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Republican Governor Rick Perry made a last second campaign stop in Amarillo Friday. He visited Roasters Coffee and Tea Company on Georgia where he greeted voters, asked them to go to the polls, and signed autographs.
After speaking about a few issues, including health care and a little about the White House. Perry answered a few questions from reporters and had this to say about border security.
"The problem is we've got a 1200 mile border and Texas doesn't have the resources nor the man power, to clearly and comprehensively, secure the border. That's the federal government's responsibility, its why we continue to, talk about this."
While he was here, Perry also made a little campaign push for fellow Republican Four Price in his campaign for the Texas House Seat, in District 87.
