AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Raising awareness and funds was the idea behind the American Heart Associations Heart Walk Saturday morning. Dozens, from young to old to even 4 legged friends gathered to walk around Medi Park. Survivors shared their stories to those attending. Health snacks and drinks were provided and booths were also set up informing the public on what to do to keep a health heart.

"A healthy diet, living a healthy lifestyle, trying to alleviate, stress from your life but again the exercise and diet is the biggest way that you can combat this," said Kyle Tugwell, American Heart Association in Amarillo.

But just because the walk is over, doesn't mean you still can't donate. Click on the links provided for more information.
