AMARILLO, TEXAS -- An Amarillo boy could have his burger added to Red Robin's menu, 10-year-old Zack Caison has been named one of ten finalist in the "Red Robin Kids' Cook-Off." Caison's not-so secret recipe is the Jalapeno Blue Ranch Burger, he along with the other finalist will compete to be America's next young gourmet burger champion.

The burger was chosen from thousand of entries submitted to Red Robin, the contest was open to kids ages six through 12.

"Choosing the right blend of complementary ingredients is one of the keys to a great-tasting gourmet burger," said David Woolley, Red Robin's executive chef. "Red Robin offers hundreds of gourmet burger toppings in a variety of flavor combinations, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the 10 burgers these finalists created."

The finalist will be featured on Red Robin Kids Cookoff webpage beginning Monday, November 15th. Fans will be able to vote for their favorite, the kid chef with the most votes will be named "Fan Favorite" at the championship event. The winner will receive a $100 gift card to Toys "R" Us and a $200 gift card to Red Robin.

The championship event will be broadcast live online on December 9th, the winner will be announced that day.

The winning burger will be sold in Red Robin restaurants next summer to benefit the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
