AMARILLO, TEXAS -- UPDATE: Amarillo police say that other than the arrest of Alexandria Montoya on a weapons charge, no one has been charged with the shooting itself.
Police investigating the incident determined that all parties involved are friends/acquaintances. However the stories are inconsistent and have changed several times throughout the investigation.
Officers will continue to gather statements from all those involved. The statements will then be presented to the 47th District Attorney's office for review.

Amarillo Police were investigating a disturbance call in the 700 block of Wichita just after 8:30 Tuesday night.
During that investigation, officers heard a gun shot just to the north of their location and responded to the intersection of Wichita and Johnson. Officers described seeing commotion in the street, with people getting into vehicles and leaving south down Johnson.
The officers on scene stopped two of those cars. In one car, they found Jimmy Flores shot in the left forearm.
In the second, they found a woman in possession of a pistol. The female was later identified as Alexandria Montoya. She was booked into the Potter County Jail and charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon. Flores was taken to a hospital to be treated, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police say the case remains open pending further investigation by detectives.
