AMARILLO, TX -- For 31 years motorcyclists have gathered together so that needy children don't go without toys during the Christmas season.

They gathered at Tripp's Harley Davidson here in Amarillo for the annual Eveline Rivers Toy Run.

In order to join in on the run, motorcyclists have to either bring a toy or make a ten dollar donation.

Eveline also made an appearance, but not as her usual self -- she came as Miss Claus.

"The motorcycle group in our community, and other communities are very caring people. They don't hold back on what they purchase, and they're giving their time, energy, and their monetary means today to make a child smile," said Eveline Rivers, Organization Founder.

About a thousand motorcyclist participated in this years toy run.

After the meet at Tripp's the motorcyclists made their way to The Courts of Amarillo, where entertainment was provided by the Buster Bledsoe Band
