CANYON, TEXAS -- The West Texas A&M University police are investigating the second alleged sexual assault to take place on campus in the past three weeks. University police received the report around 1:30 in the afternoon on Friday, December 3, that a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted in a residence hall on campus.
The alleged offense occurred between 7-10 p.m. the night before, on Dec. 2. The incident allegedly involved an adult male who is a WTAMU student and who was known to the victim
University police said that all appropriate resources were made available to the victim.
The other assault occurred sometime between 10:00 on the evening of November 13th to 3:00 am on the 14th. University police were notified on November 15th regarding the alleged sexual assault.
