AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Bringing holiday cheer and teaching a lesson on giving. That's what 5th graders from St. Andrew's Episcopal School did while presenting a play at the Opportunity School Wednesday.

The 5th graders, dressed as elves, Santa, and Mrs. Claus presented their play about sharing and giving to small kids at the school. The event is part of a St. Andrew's outreach project to benefit the community.

"We do service learning and so we came to put on a play for the little kids to show them about giving and we like to do things for others," said Samantha Henry, St. Andrew's 5th Grader.

After the play, students went to the younger children's rooms and read books to them. The donated those books to the classroom.
