AMARILLO, TEXAS -- If you want to enjoy Christmas the old-fashion way, then the Christmas Lights Tour is for you. The horse-drawn carriage rides are a staple during Christmas in Amarillo.

The company offers 30-minute rides through the lights of Wolflin Village, and you can request the traditional Victorian carriage or a big hitch wagon. They have blankets for you to snuggle under, but you can also bring your own. It's a time for people to slow down and enjoy the neighborhood.

"A lot of people haven't done it before, but they've seen it and they think it looks neat and then a lot of people have done it and little kids really like it.They like to hear the hoofs pounding down the street and the bells ringing. We have a lot of fun doing it," said Jim Ferguson, the owner of Ferguson Cattle Company, and a tour guide of the Christmas Lights Tour.

Tours leave from the Canyon E-Way and Moss Street, right at the zebra-striped building starting at 6 p.m. December 10th through December 12th and December 17th through the 23rd.

It costs $10 a person and you can just show up at the location the tours leave or call 806-948-5438.
