AMARILLO, TEXAS -- In town's across America Saturday thousands stopped and paid tribute to our military veterans by laying Christmas wreaths on their gravesites. Amarillo's ceremony took place at Llano East Cemetery. Each military branch flags were represented as well as a POW flag. During the ceremony, a moment of silence was given to pause, reflect and remember our veterans past and present who have fought so hard for our freedoms.

"We want the sacrifices made by our veterans to be passed on to those as we leave the face of this earth. It's because of these sacrifices made by our soldiers that we are able to gather here today and honor those who have paid the ultimate price," said Jerry Moore, Texas Patriot Guard.

Saturday's ceremony was part of a national movement, called "Wreaths Across America."
