Jury sentences man convicted of child pornography

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- UPDATE 4:50: A jury returned a sentence of ten years for each count of child pornography. On Friday H. Dean Wilson was convicted of 12 child pornography charges.

Judge Harold Board, who presided over the case last week was out sick Monday.

Wilson will have to wait until he returns for his official sentence. He was taken into custody pending that sentence.

An Amarillo man has been convicted on 12 child pornography charges. The sentencing phase for H. Dean Wilson began Monday morning in the 181st District Court.

A jury took roughly two hours to return the guilty verdict on Friday. While Wilson was found guilty of the child pornography charges, he was found not guilty on four counts of indecency with a child.
