AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Carson County Commissioners voted Monday to incorporate their crime stoppers program with the Amarillo Crime Stoppers.
According to a press release from Amarillo Crime Stoppers, the two have been working together for many years. That includes paying tips for information on crimes committed in the county, providing ID cards for kids, and many other events. The agreement will be sent to the Texas Crime Stoppers Advisory Board in Austin to be accepted.
Amarillo Crime Stoppers serves Potter and Randall counties, and has served the Texas Panhandle for over 31 years and is recognized throughout the state.
