T. Boone Pickens is a well known name here in the Texas Panhandle. In 2008, Pickens announced his plan to get America off its dependence on foreign oil. At the time, that plan included natural gas and wind energy. In fact, he had plans to build the world's largest wind farm in Gray County, but that plan was put on hold.
Pickens has now changed his focus from wind energy and natural gas to include just natural gas.
