AMARILLO, TX -- The Amarillo Economic Development Corporation has approved a grant for a local company's planned expansion.
Support Hose Plus at I-40 and Bell has outgrown its current e-commerce enterprise and will now be able to expand with this grant.
The company's original e-commerce platform was developed in-house in 2001, but is no longer capable of handling current sales efficiently.
The grant will pay the interest for a loan to expand and allow for an additional five employees.
The loan will help purchase new vendor-supplied software that will enable the company to process orders more quickly while also maintaining and managing a much larger customer database.
Support Hose Plus is a major online marketer of compression stockings, supports and braces, and other orthopedic medical devices.
