AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Westgate Mall was open today giving shoppers an opportunity to get their last minutes gifts before the big day tomorrow.
For the past couple of weeks businesses around Amarillo have extended their hours later in the day so shoppers could have more time to find those Christmas gifts.
Today the Westgate Mall closed at six, but not before shoppers had time to make purchases before the doors closed for Christmas.
"People might be ready with their presents, or they might not so it can be either way. It can be crowded or it can be really slow -- I hope for it to be crowded cause it's better for business you know," said Alla Mazurenko, Revolve Sales Manager.
The mall will re-open Sunday from 10 in the morning until 7 p.m.
The mall will be closed all day tomorrow for Christmas.
