AMARILLO, TEXAS -- What's new Amarillo? A question commonly asked by folks about any new or expanded businesses.

This week I took a look at McGavock Nissan, which now has a location on Georgia Street.

They sell new and pre-owned vehicles, so if you are looking for a car for the new year they have plenty to choose from.

Next I stopped by Kolache Cafe who's owner told us they are opening up a new location off of Hillside next month.

If you are hungry and happen to be close to either location then you can pop in and get a taste of one of those special Czech treats.

And my last stop of the day was at Crickets Casual Dining, formally known as the Catfish Shack and Seafood Grill.

They now serve gourmet burgers and hot dogs as well as chicken fried steaks and much more.

We asked why the name changed owner Gary Hodges told me that seafood became a little tougher to get and not to mention Crickets is just a little more simple.

If you know of anything new that has recently opened or is soon to open send us an e-mail or send us a message on our Facebook page.
