It may be cheaper to attend a concert in 2011.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- After ballooning ticket prices kept many fans at home this year, many promoters now say they plan to make shows more affordable next year.

For example, ZZ Top expects to set prices below the 2010 average of $55. Some tickets will go for as little as $10. Band manager Carl Stubner, says "We'll find other ways to make money."

Pushing the sale of more T-shirts and other merchandise is one way promoters plan to make up for lost revenue.

But not all concerts will be cheap next year — not even Cheap Trick, whose tickets for 2011 are selling for around $80 with fees. And fans of hot performers such as Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga also shouldn't expect to get much of a break.
