To make sure drivers in New Mexico are safe this holiday weekend. Police will be out in full force with another DWI saturation patrol in Clovis.

Police will begin those patrols New Year's Eve night at 11:00 p.m. continuing through the new year until 3:00 a.m. Officers will be specifically targeting drunk drivers.

The ODWI Grant makes this possible from Safer New Mexico Now.

The Clovis Police Department would like to remind everyone to drink responsibly and have a sober designated driver or call a taxi to get home safely.
