BUSHLAND, TEXAS -- UPDATE: A 28-year-old woman who was reported missing Wednesday night has still not been found, and the search has now been called off. Danny Alexander with the Randall County Sheriff's office said they still aren't sure if she was really missing or in any danger.
The sheriff's office said they received calls around 8:00 p.m., about a woman knocking on a resident's door. According to Alexander, the woman got in a fight with her boyfriend around I-40 and Bushland, and she walked away from the scene of the fight. The man she was with was arrested for public intoxication. The woman was said to have knocked on one person's door in the area of 34th and Bushland looking for a ride.
Authorities from Randall, Potter, and Oldham counties along with the DPS chopper all searched for the woman for four hours, but were never able to find her. They also checked her home in Oldham County, but she wasn't there.
