DUMAS, TEXAS -- UPDATE Jan. 20, 5:40: Two men have been arrested in connection with the January 10, burglary that happened in the 1100 block of South Bliss, in Dumas.
Dumas police have arrested, Gilbert Basaldua,48, a registered sex offender, and Paul Padilla, 37.
Basaldua was arrested Tuesday evening in his home, and booked into the Moore County Jail. He has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. His bond has been set at $500,000.
Padilla was arrested Wednesday morning, and booked into the Moore County Jail. He was charged with burglary of a habitation, bond has been set at $200,000.

Two men are wanted by the Dumas Police Department after they broke into a home and sexually assaulted the person inside.
Dumas police said that the two men burglarized a home on January 10, in the 1100 block of South Bliss. The men forced their way into the home and sexually assaulted the one occupant in the home. They also stole a 32" Samsung TV from the residence.
Investigators have also been told that there may have been as many as three suspects involved. They believe the men fled the scene in a late model SUV type vehicle, dark colored.
