Are you enjoying the warmer weather?

CANYON, TEXAS -- It's safe to say after the bitter cold temperatures early this week, folks have been outside soaking up the sunshine Saturday. In fact, Palo Duro Canyon State Park was flooded with people wanting to spend the day there. From camping, hiking, bicycling, people were grinning ear to ear to be able to bask in the warmer weather. Even taking in a picnic and letting the kids run off some pint up energy.

"Training in doors is not any fun if you train running, cycling whatever, you're ready to get outside and enjoy the warm weather," said Erin Reedy, Bicyclist.

"We're just here for the nice weather the sunshine and my grandchildren are taking a hike up through the hills," said Wanda Terrell, enjoying the sunshine.

While we still have winter weather ahead of us. Most folks Pronews 7 spoke to say they're longing for those warmer days.

"Am so ready for spring to get there am just, the cold weather is just wearing on me," said Reedy.
