Car leaves road and rolls at least one both driver and passenger ejected.
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- UPDATE: Jan. 25, 2011, 3:50p.m.: A couple from Canadian were ejected after their vehicle rolled, Monday night on I-40 between Lakeside and Eastern. According to witnesses, the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed on I-40 east when it left the road and rolled at least once.
The 30-year-old man and 27-year-old woman were both ejected. Sgt. Brent Barbee with the Amarillo Police Department said that at the time one of their injuries looked serious, but there has not been an update from the hospital.
Barbee also said that speed was a factor in the wreck, and they are investigating to determine whether alcohol was involved.

About 7:30 p.m. we heard scanner traffic about a rollover accident on I-40 between Lakeside and Eastern.
Reports from the scene were that one driver heading westbound on I-40 lost control and veered off onto the access road when the car flipped.
Two people were ejected from the vehicle and were taken to a local hospital.
We are told both were conscious, but they are in critical condition.
Life-star was called, but was then called off.
