AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Multiple businesses and companies are gathering in Amarillo to showcase their outdoor fun as part of Outdoor World at the Amarillo Civic Center. In a place full of boats, cars and fishing, one table stands out. The Outdoor Adventure Foundation is a program for terminally ill children. For those battling cancer or life threatening illnesses, the Foundation offers a getaway to hunt or fish.

"This is for terminally ill children and combat disabled veterans. If a kid's last wish is to go on a hunting or fishing trip, we want to make that happen. We can do that, we have lots of outfitters, landowners in the Panhandle and throughout the state of Texas that have said, we're in, whatever you need," said Britt Cornwell, The Outdoor Adventure Foundation Director.

If you or someone you know would like to participate in the Outdoor Adventure Foundation or to donate call Britt at 223-8882.

There will be a fundraising banquet February 19th for the foundation. To learn about it and the cost to buy a table, call the number above.
