AMARILLO, TX -- For anyone looking for something out of the ordinary this weekend, head on over to the Amarillo national center for a monster truck rally.
5 different monster rigs will be on hand to thrill audiences with races, jumps and a freestyle competition both tonight and tomorrow night as well.
You may want to bring some ear plugs as these trucks are noisy...but you'll see lots of action and "bone crushing power."
"We've got races, aerials jumps where they catch good air and my favorite, the freestyle, something for everyone...good fun for the family..come on out," says promoter Tod Hammock.
There's a meet and greet pit party you can do early with some of the drivers for a few extra bucks along with a ride along truck where spectators can climb in the back and get a feel of what these trucks are really like.
