AMARILLO, TEXAS -- While some would prefer to stay home and avoid driving during times like these -- others choose to get up and get out.
People were seen around town sledding down the snowy slopes of Amarillo like those found in Medi-Park.
"It's been a really dry winter this year and this may be the only chance we get so even though it's only two, three, four inches of snow we figured we better get out and enjoy it while we could," said Brian Foote, Amarillo dad.
Foote told us they had been having fun sledding for the past hour, but he predicted the kids would be soaked up soon enough to head home, warm-up and relax.
